While the government made it clear no compromise will be made and the operations will continue till the last terrorist is dead.
1975 Emergency was a threat to democracy and the nation will never forget it !
India will never forget the emergency of 1975, the threat Indians faced to their democratic rights post Independence, still give chills to many! The emergency that was imposed by Indira Gandhi, will never be forgotten by the people of this great nation.
Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday observed the 44th anniversary of Emergency and tweeted reminding the Congress party of the crimes they committed during the emergency which they declared.
PM Modi said that he salutes those great souls who “fiercely and fearlessly” resisted the Emergency. He also shared a video of him narrating the ordeal that the country faced when the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had declared a state of Emergency in the country on June 25, 1975.
Union Home Minister and BJP President Amit Shah attacked Congress and slammed the party for “killing democracy” in 1975 for its own “political agenda.”On this day, we the people of India should always remember the importance of upholding the integrity our institutions and the Constitution.”
While BJP’s working president, JP Nadda, applauded the efforts of the ‘unsung hero’ of the Bharatiya Jan Sangh and RSS “who led the anti-emergency movement from the front.”
shiv sena, likely to get the deputy speaker post while BJD and JDU also in the race.
The post of Deputy Speaker is still vacant and NDA still has to nominate a name for the post, this post usually goes to a party that is not part of the ruling side. In 2014, BJP had handed the post to AIADMK MP M Thambidurai, but BJP contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections as an alliance partner with AIADMK.
But this time the post can go to Shiv Sena, BJD or even JD(U). But as per the sources say Shiv Sena led by Uddhav Thackeray who shares a close relationship with the Bharatiya Janata Party may have a strong claim for the post. The party is likely to propose Bhawana Gawali as its nominee for the post, said sources.
While, Jagan Mohan Reddy-led YSR Congress Party is most likely to turn down the post if they are not assured of special status for Andhra Pradesh. YSR Congress will not accept the post till the time the Centre grants special status to Andhra Pradesh.
Naveen Patnaik’s Biju Janta Dal (BJD) is also keen on bagging the Deputy Speaker’s post as it wishes to maintain a safe distance from both BJP and Congress. While NDA’s Bihar partner Janata Dal (United) led by Nitish Kumar is also in running for the post as the party has it did not take any Cabinet berth in the Modi governmet 2.0.
Owaisi said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) got 60 percent of the votes. It shows how the BJP got 303 seats. Owaisi said that BJP does not have a single Muslim MP
Veer Savarkar! Immortal living in the life of Hindus and for the unbroken Hindu nation, who had once told the Hindus to awaken their strength, to awaken the consciousness of the Hindus, if Hindus were organized, if Hindus were united If you are tied in the formula, then every leader of the country who has not been against the Hindus will also wear Jinahu on the coat to show that he is a Hindu, by putting a tilak on his forehead. To tell that he is Hindu and respects the Hindus.
This talk of Veer Savarkar ji is proving true in today’s politics of the country. After the unity of the Hindus during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the tone of the leaders who always spoke against Hindutva, those who spoke against Hindutva, changed the mindset of the Hindus, and found themselves competing to tell themselves Hindu-friendly. These parties and politicians hoped that by doing this Hindu society would probably vote for them in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. But it did not happen and the Bharatiya Janata Party got more bumper majority than 2014.
All the reasons for the huge victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections are being counted, but the Parliament of Hyderabad, Asaduddin Owaisi has made a big statement about it. Owaisi has said that BJP has won this elections because of the unity of Hindus and Modi has become PM again. Discussing a thank-you proposal on the Presidential address on Monday in the Parliament, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi said that the Lok Sabha election 2019 shows that the vote is divided on a religious basis as fast as possible.
Owaisi said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) got 60 percent of the votes. It shows how the BJP got 303 seats. Owaisi said that BJP does not have a single Muslim MP. During elections, only 24 Muslim MPs have been elected. Which is just 4 per cent of the total population. BJP won the election only because Hindus voted them together and voted.
Mayawati ditches Akhliesh Yadav, and clears her intention, will contest alone in all elections.
Mayawati clears her intentions, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati on Monday announced to go solo in all elections, completely breaking ties with the Samajwadi Party.
In a tweet Mayawati said,”The Samajwadi Party’s behaviour after Lok Sabha polls forced us to think if it would be possible to defeat BJP by continuing the alliance. We came to a conclusion that it was not possible. Therefore, in the interest of the party and the movement, BSP will now fight all the small and big elections all alone”.
The alliance failed in the recent lok sabha elections, with SP securing only 5 seats and BSP securing 10 seats. Altough the alliance did help BSP as it didn’t win a single seat in the 2014 selections. But now seeing the situation BSP chief Mayawati has decided to ditch Akhilesh Yadav’s SP.
Mayawati after two-hour-long national convention of the BSP on Sunday, accused Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav to frame her in Taj corridor case. She also attacked former ally Akhilesh of working against non-Yadav and backward communities, resulting in the alliance’s poor performance in Lok Sabha poll.
Union Women and Child development minister Smriti Irani to get her permanent address in Amethi.
Union minister Smriti Irani, who defeated Rahul Gandhi in Amethi in the elections on Saturday did what Congress President Rahul Gandhi couldn’t /did not do in the past one-and-a-half decade. Irani announced on Saturday that she will construct her own house in Amethi.
“Amethi would now be my permanent home and I would be accessible to the people”, Irani said while addressing the people. The Gandhi family, however, never found a permanent abode in Amethi even though Congress chief Rahul Gandhi had been representing Amethi in the Lok Sabha from 2004 to 2019 and his mother Sonia Gandhi had won the seat in 1999. The family chose to stay in guest houses during their visits.
The announcement was made by UP deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya who was in Amethi with the new MP Smriti Irani to inaugurate the projects that have been completed. Decision to build a house in her constituency is a clear indication that she intends to continue her relationship with Amethi in the coming years.
