So far, people like Asaduddin Owaisi, Omar Khalid, Azam Khan were heard to say that they will not speak Vande Mataram because Vande Mataram is against religion-Islam. But the grandson Pramukh Ambedkar of the Constitution producer Bhimrao Ram ji Ambedkar, describing himself as a benevolent society, gave a very controversial and objectionable statement to Vande Mataram.
Prakash Ambedkar, national grandson of the Bharatiya Bahujan Mahasangh (BBM), grandson of Dr. BR Ambedkar, the creator of Indian Constitution, said that he would not sing Vande Mataram. They questioned that if I sing ‘Jana Gana Mana’, then I will become anti-India and will I become a true Indian by singing Vande Mataram? Addressing a program on Tuesday (October 23), Ambedkar said that when national anthem is already present in the country, then the country needs national song ie Vande Mataram.
They said, Jana Gana Mana is a national anthem, not Vande Mataram. Why is the need for any other song when the official National Assembly is present? He said that national anthem people are called nationalists, but if no Vande Mataram does not sing, how can it be traitor. He asked who was Vande Mataram to give anti-national certificate to those who did not sing?
Hitting on BJP, he said, “Who are you giving such certificates (National-Anti-National)?” I accuse those people of being anti-India who sing Vande Mataram.
